The Head of Finance is a key position within this owner managed business. Partnering with the MD you will be the lead on all finance related matters. Managing a small team, you will be collaborating with the wider senior leadership team to deliver on the strategic objectives of this business.
Responsibilities
- Lead all finance functions within the business and manage all financial and accounting operations including cash, debtor and creditor management.
- Ensure timely production of monthly/quarterly management accounts and performance reports, including production of budgets and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Undertake appraisal and evaluation of Board directed projects including strategic, operational, business development and capital investment projects.
- Coordinate and direct the introduction of BI packages to improve visibility of management and department information.
- Monitor internal control policies and procedures to ensure current business requirements are met
- Provide a measured financial perspective when addressing operational and commercial issues/opportunities with managers and directors.
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and have worked within a commercial environment. You will also have demonstrable experience of where you have added value to the finance team and wider business.
