Location: Essex, Cambridge, and Suffolk region (Office based in Cambridge with full flexibility for client meetings and working from home).A leading national independent financial advisory firm is seeking a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and proactive Associate Independent Financial Adviser. The ideal candidate will listen, advise, and work diligently to help clients plan a financial future that suits their needs.

Qualifications:

Candidates must hold the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, with many advisers in the firm having achieved Chartered status. The role requires recognising business development opportunities, building confidence, and understanding the value of providing truly independent financial advice. This takes time, patience, and dedication, and the team at this firm has the expertise to help advisers achieve their aspirations. This role is specifically aimed at an up and coming IFAs, with appx 12 months previous client facing experience in a financial advisory capacity.

Requirements:

  • Essential Qualification: Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
  • Skills: Networking, presentation, and business development skills. While support is provided, any prior experience is advantageous.
  • Qualities: Self-motivated, engaging, compassionate, and client-focused.
  • Drive: Passion and drive to succeed, while delivering the best possible service to clients.

Role Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will specialize within the expert Private Wealth division, working with clients at varying stages of their careers to secure their financial futures.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with an experienced team to develop and enhance skills in financial advice.
  • Provide holistic financial advice to prospective and existing clients.
  • Compile accurate investment reports that meet client requirements and internal business standards.
  • Conduct regular fact-finding, presentations, and service review meetings with clients.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Follow up on inquiries to enhance business prospects.
  • Generate a pipeline of business to meet business plans.

  • Salary: Starting base salary of £40,000 with validation at 2.5. Bonus structure includes 40% bonus for billings between £100,000 - £140,000, with higher bonuses for billings above this range.
