Salary: up to £35,000 p.a.

Casanovas Recruitment Solutions are seeking a skilled Import Customs Administrator to join a welcoming and dynamic teamwithin a thriving logistics company. In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring smooth and efficient customs processes, helping to drive the success of the business.

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Working as part of a team, reporting to a Customs Team Leader/Manager
  • Handling and completing customs documents under Power of Attorney
  • Extracting data from commercial invoices & packing lists for import declarations
  • Liaising with importers, exporters, and internal teams to gather mandatory information
  • Entering details into customs software (Destin8, Sequoia, Descartes, etc.)
  • Managing import licences, calculating duties, and processing tax payments
  • Keeping up-to-date with CDS, NCTS, GVMS, IPAFFS, and regulatory changes
  • Engaging with Port Health, Border Force, and HMRC officials as needed
  • Processing key import documentation

Required Skills & Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar customs role
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and legal requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to problem-solve and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Windows-based applications and industry-standard software
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
