Are you a passionate Maths Graduate looking to kickstart your career in education? Do you have a strong mathematical mindset and the desire to inspire young learners? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our secondary schools in Colchester as a Maths Graduate, supporting students in their academic progress.

This role is ideal for a Maths Graduate considering a future in teaching, offering hands-on experience in the classroom, assisting teachers, and working with students on a 1:1 and small-group basis. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable skills while making a real impact on students’ learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Maths department in lesson preparation and classroom activities.
  • Work with students to strengthen their understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group interventions for students needing extra support.
  • Assist in tracking student progress and providing feedback to teachers.
  • Help create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
  • Inspire students to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Mathematics (or a related subject).
  • A strong passion for education and student development.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
