Are you a passionate Maths Graduate looking to kickstart your career in education? Do you have a strong mathematical mindset and the desire to inspire young learners? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our secondary schools in Colchester as a Maths Graduate, supporting students in their academic progress.
This role is ideal for a Maths Graduate considering a future in teaching, offering hands-on experience in the classroom, assisting teachers, and working with students on a 1:1 and small-group basis. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable skills while making a real impact on students’ learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Maths department in lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Work with students to strengthen their understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Provide 1:1 and small-group interventions for students needing extra support.
- Assist in tracking student progress and providing feedback to teachers.
- Help create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Inspire students to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mathematics (or a related subject).
- A strong passion for education and student development.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
