Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real impact in the lives of children and young people? We are seeking a Nurture Teacher to join our outstanding team, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 - KS5 in a specialist Autism school. If you are adaptive, empathetic, and driven by the desire to help every child reach their full potential — this is the role for you!

About the Role

As a Nurture Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver a tailored curriculum to meet the needs of students with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), and other neurodiverse conditions.
  • Create a safe, consistent, and nurturing learning environment where students feel valued and supported.
  • Develop individualised learning plans to support both academic progress and emotional development.
  • Integrate literacy into daily learning by encouraging students to express themselves through writing, storytelling, and communication.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with students, helping them develop confidence and emotional resilience.
  • Work closely with a skilled and supportive team, including therapists and support staff, to adapt strategies and approaches.
  • Encourage sensory exploration and creative expression to support engagement and learning.
  • Provide a consistent and structured routine to help students feel secure and engaged in their learning.
  • Support transitions between key stages to promote stability and continuous growth.
