About Our Client:

Our client a global leader within their field are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated candidate for the position of Project Lead at their Colchester office.

Joining their dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to support new product development projects and contribute to the production of high-quality products.

As a Project Lead, you will play a key role in the planning, execution, and completion of customer-facing and internal development projects. Working closely with the project management team, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Providing technical and administrative support for customer-facing new product development projects
  • Assisting with internal packaging development projects
  • Managing trials and validation protocols
  • Supporting Quality customer requests for regulatory compliance in food and pharma markets
  • Managing supplier quotations, purchase orders, and sample materials
  • Administering site Change Controls and maintaining thorough documentation
  • Updating and maintaining project trackers
  • Assisting with annual leave cover, including artwork processing
  • Supporting artwork processing and managing printing plate deliveries
  • Assisting the team and business as required

Person Specification:

To excel in this role, you should have experience in a technical/administrative/project support role.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages and other applications, including SAP and FileHold
  • Knowledge of quality management systems
  • The ability to improve and streamline technical and administrative processes
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Attention to detail and administrative abilities
  • A positive attitude, self-motivation, and good time management
  • Full understanding and adherence to safety policies and procedures

Monday to Thursday 8:30- 5:15 Friday 8:30- 4:15

45 minute lunch break

Fully site based - no hybrid or remote working
