We are delighted to be recruiting for a Trainee Paraplanner on behalf of our client, a highly regarded Independent Financial Advisors based in Colchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright individual who is looking to build a successful career within the Financial Services Industry.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing high quality financial planning support to Financial Advisers in accordance with the FCA while representing the company in a professional manner.
  • The preparation of new business documents, communication with clients, capturing and recording client data and producing investment reports,
  • Researching and processing of more technical matters through to implementation.
  • Developing financial services software systems to assist the growth of the business

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous administrative experience gained from the financial services industry or regulated environment would be highly beneficial. However, candidates with a genuine interest in building a career within the industry will also be considered
  • Educated to A Level standard (or the equivalent) as a minimum, with GCSE passes at grade 6 or above in core subjects (or the equivalent)
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
