Job Opportunity: Senior Care Assistant Fingringhoe

Minerva Recruitment is advertising this role on behalf of our client, who is urgently seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join their dedicated team in Fingringhoe.

  • Hours: 36, 42, or 48 hours per week
  • Shift Patterns:
    • 08:00 14:00
    • 14:00 20:00
    • 08:00 20:00
    • 20:00 08:00
  • Pay Rate: £13.05 per hour
  • Benefits Include:
    • Overtime: Paid at time and a half
    • Christmas & New Year: Paid double time
    • Petrol Allowance: £30 per month
    • Blue Light Card: Paid for by the employer
    • Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks, increasing to 6 weeks with service
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Organising and managing the day-to-day shift responsibilities.
  • Dispensing and administering residents medication.
  • Liaising with medical professionals such as GPs and District Nurses to ensure residents receive appropriate care.
  • Supporting staff with all aspects of personal care, including feeding residents.
  • Conducting regular checks on residents to ensure their wellbeing.
  • Completing all mandatory paperwork and documentation regarding residents.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or be actively working towards it.
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential due to the location.
  • Flexibility to cover occasional night shifts to support the team during annual leave periods.
  • We do not currently offer any sponsorship opportunities for this role, if you are not a UK resident, you will need to be able to provide a valid right to work.
About the Role:
This role is predominantly day shifts, but the successful candidates must demonstrate flexibility. You will be an essential part of the care team, ensuring residents receive the highest level of care and support.
