ECT's will be provided an experienced and supportive ECT mentor to help with their progress and ensure they reach their full potential.
Responsibilities of a Science Lecturer:
** Working in the Science Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet standards of work
** Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
** Delivery of T levels and BTEC Level 3
**Plan and deliver lessons that meet the diverse needs of our students.
** Assess and track student progress, maintaining accurate records.
** Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
** Support extracurricular Science activities and events.
Requirements:
** Level 5 Teaching Qualification or willing to work towards one
** Science Related Degree
** Passion for Science and commitment to fostering a love of learning in students
** Excellent organisational and communication skills
** Strong behaviour management skills
** Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
