Responsibilities

  • As a Science Teacher, you'll design and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
  • Bring scientific concepts to life by incorporating hands-on experiments, inquiry-based activities, and technology into your lessons.
  • Stay current with advancements in Science and education, and apply new research and best practices in your classroom.
  • Monitor student progress and well-being, addressing academic or pastoral concerns, and communicating with parents.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in Physics, Biology, Chemistry or a broader science degree
  • Strong understanding of the Science curriculum
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Two professional references are required for this position.
