Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a diverse team of Outsourcing Assistant's and Seniors across multiple offices.
- Inspiring, motivating, and coaching team members while fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Taking ownership of new business opportunities by delivering proposals to prospects and developing internal and external networks.
- Reviewing bookkeeping, management accounts, and VAT returns completed by team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Overseeing the workflow of the bookkeeping team by reviewing weekly work plans and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Serving as the main point of contact for clients regarding bookkeeping and VAT return submissions.
What this client is ideally seeking:
- AAT, ACCA, or ACA qualification (or qualified by experience).
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice (desirable but not essential).
- Strong people management and organisational skills, with a proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
- Extensive bookkeeping experience and a solid understanding of VAT and management accounts.
