Waddington Brown are working in partnership with a successful and ever-evolving Healthcare Group on their new appointment of an HR Business Partner who will have specific responsibility for overseeing compensation & benefits. In this newly created role you will work with existing policies and frameworks, adapting and improving where necessary to ensure appointments are competitive within the market and that employees feel fairly remunerated. Using the results from their 2024 benefits survey you will have a blank sheet of paper to use your expertise in the field of compensation & benefits to help the organisation be as competitive as possible. Reporting to the Director of People and working within an established HR team you will have assistance from a dedicated HR Advisor and a team of Administrators. As the company grows, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your position within the organisation.
The HR Business Partner package includes:

Key responsibilities of the HR Business Partner role involve:
- Review and design the compensation and benefits programmes to ensure alignment with the overall company goals and objectives
- Support the annual salary review process
- Maintain and update compensation structures including job family frameworks and salary grading
- Undertake job evaluations, develop and maintain job descriptions
- Work in partnership with the wider HR team to develop and implement the HR strategy
- HR lead on policy management, support and advice on policies, procedures and best practice
- Dedicated HR lead for the Support Office
As an HR Business Partner you will have:
- Preferably CIPD qualified
- Significant experience within compensation & benefits
- Detailed understanding of compensation & benefits laws and regulations is essential
- Strong knowledge of compensation frameworks, market benchmarking and job evaluation methodologies
- Business Acumen - strong understanding of how compensation and benefit programmes can support business objectives
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with HR systems or compensation tools
- Solid experience in all areas of generalist HR
