Description

  • Delivering the People Strategy and Service Delivery Plan.
  • The effective filing, storing and management of all employee files and documentation in line with appropriate records management, data protection and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring organisational compliance with all people related legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the business.
  • Proactively gaining key client feedback on the quality and effectiveness of People Services, proposing improvements to service provision as appropriate.
  • Creating a culture of equality and opportunity in which all colleagues are able to reach their potential.
  • Embedding a high performing culture within the business area as a means of driving business improvement.
  • The timely provision of defined management information against a distinct reporting cycle as well as the production of other (ad hoc) people services reporting as required.

Profile

A successful HR Officer should have:

  • Previous experience in a HR role in a busy, fast-paced, matrix environment.
  • Proven experience providing advice based on sound understanding of Organisation's policy and practice.
  • Ability to summarise trends in data, feedback conclusions to leaders and propose actions.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Experience of effectively communicating with and influencing a wide circle of internal stakeholders.
  • Experience/understanding of the social care sector or other regulated environment.
  • Acquisition / TUPE experience
  • Actively seeks ways to develop understanding of organisational and sector issues and developments.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Applies own judgement and criteria to adapt previous recommendations or experience in the light of the current circumstances.
  • Works closely with others who are involved in and impacted by the issue,consulting for their views and involving them in developing the solution.
