IT Support Engineer - 2nd/3rd Line

Are you a skilled IT Support Engineer with a passion for cloud technology and delivering exceptional service? My client, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP), is looking for a motivated individual to join their team in Colchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud projects while providing high-level IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd Line support to a variety of clients, resolving technical issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Manage and maintain Office 365 and Azure environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Assist in delivering cloud migration and implementation projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues related to servers, networks, and cloud infrastructures.
  • Work closely with the wider technical team to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain client systems, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Document support processes and maintain accurate system records.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a 2nd/3rd Line IT support role, ideally within an MSP environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Office 365 and Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud projects - migrations, implementations, and management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills across server, network, and cloud infrastructures.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Office 365) are a plus.
