Stock Assistant (Technology)

£26.5k per annum | Mon-Fri 8:30-5 | Excellent Holiday Allowance/Company Share Scheme/Life Insurance/Pension/Company Events/Great Company Culture | Problem Solving/Troubleshooting/Technical Faults/Stock Taking/Repairs/Ordering/Loading and Unloading/Ordering Parts and Equipment/Liaison with Headquarters/Quality Assurance | Stock or Warehousing Experience/Understanding of Technical Products/Attention to Detail/Good Communicator/IT Skills | Passionate Team/Believe in Product/All Hands-on Deck

Reporting to the Warehouse supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting our client’s fulfilment operations for their technical product.

As a Stock Assistant, you will be responsible for picking, calibrating, and packing their world class devices, ensuring customers receive their device on time and in the highest quality condition.

Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Receiving and inspecting incoming goods
  • Read Sales orders to determine quantity and type of product
  • Locate product in the warehouse
  • Perform device gas calibrations
  • Ensure a quality product is packaged and shipped to customers as per Working Instructions
  • Ensure work areas are kept clean and well-organized
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies and quality standards
  • Perform inventory cycle counts
  • Ensure accurate stock rotation - FIFO
  • Execute a daily report of outstanding sales orders
  • Raise intercompany purchase orders
  • Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with general daily tasks

Person Specification:

  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
  • Ideally a passion for technology/IT, ideally with a degree in Computing or similar
  • Clear understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control
  • Accountable and dependable, meeting deadlines consistently
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and take responsibility
  • Possess above average attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Adaptable to changes in priorities and ability to drive these
