Our Client is a world leader in the development and manufacturing of wirelessly connected safety products. Their products are designed to save lives and monitor personnel working alone in populated areas, complex indoor facilities, and the remote reaches of the planet. These’ products are used to keep people safe in the event of falls, missed check-ins, man-down and exposure to explosive or toxic gas.

They are now seeking a Quality & Compliance Coordinator to join their dynamic and collaborative team. The Quality & Compliance Coordinator will play a crucial role in European operations. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will review policies, ensure compliance, identify improvements and provide quality and compliance support across Europe.

Duties (include but are not limited to)

  • Support the day-to-day execution and implementation of the company's quality and compliance strategy, ensuring it operates in the manner it was envisaged.
  • Support with the implementation of Integrated Management System requirements within the company and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Control and maintain SOP manuals including the issue of amendments.
  • Support with the recording and monitoring of non-conformances raised and ensure their timely investigation and close out.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to the products, process and quality system. This includes identification, recording, providing solutions and verification of implemented solutions.
  • Record agenda and minutes for the annual Management Review.
  • Support with the completion of the annual audit program to ensure that departments are in full compliance of the internal SOP’s and industry standards.
  • Communicate and cascade internally any changes to the Integrated Management System
  • Support in the monitoring of monthly KPI’s.
  • Support with the recording and investigation of customer feedback and carry our resolution actions to address any customer concerns.
  • Monitor and record the companies risk mitigations.
  • Assist with developing a dashboard and monthly reporting of compliance statistics and cases of non-compliance.
  • Support the business with GDPR data access and data deletion requests.

Person Specification

  • Strong communication, conflict management and negotiation skills.
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail are essential.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear accurate reports, statistics, and documentation.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders’ expectations and articulate Quality and Compliance requirements to said stakeholders, effectively.
  • Ability to analyze information and trends, draw conclusions and develop action plans.
  • Computer, data entry, MS Office and SharePoint skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good knowledge of relevant ISO certifications, including but not limited to 9001/14001/45001
  • Internal auditing experience
  • NEBOSH not required but would strengthen an application, and if not held the successful candidate should have an appetite to complete the qualification
  • Experience with Trade Compliance and an understanding of MSS Data and its function
