The Warehouse Operations Manager Role:

As our Warehouse Operations Manager, you'll oversee and coordinate all warehouse operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include managing daily tasks such as receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, optimising workflows, and ensuring timely completion.

Youll lead and train the warehouse team, oversee performance metrics, and drive process improvements to boost efficiency and uphold high-quality standards. Additionally, you will manage daily inventory to ensure successful OTIF deliveries, conduct regular audits, and work closely with the UK Logistics Manager on strategic planning, budgeting, and policy implementation. Your efforts will be key in achieving our operational goals and meeting customer needs effectively.

To facilitate collaboration between our AM and PM teams, core hours will be from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Occasionally, you may need to adjust your hours to support shift requirements as needed.

What your day-to-day might look like:

+ Overseeing daily site operations
+ Monitoring and analysing performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities
+ Promoting a safety-first environment by ensuring compliance with Health and Safety
+ Ensuring adherence to Food Safety & Quality regulations and company policies
+ Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
+ Leading, motivating, and supporting a team of employees
+ Collaborating with the UK Logistics Manager to develop and implement growth strategies
+ Preparing regular reports on operational performance
+ Leading weekly performance update meetings with the Logistics SLT on Business KPIs and OKRs

About you:

+ Proven experience in operations management within logistics or supply chain environments
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
+ Proficiency in operational management software and tools
+ Solid knowledge of Health and Safety, Food Safety regulations, and quality standards (ideally, at least Level 2 HACCP certification)
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
+ Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
+ Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail
+ Proven track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with team members and stakeholders
+ Project management certification and knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma or Lean) are advantageous
