A global leader in electronics manufacturing is seeking a Production Engineer to join their team. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and integrating advanced test systems for the test and measurement industry. The Production Engineer will have excellent opportunities to develop skills in mechanical design, electronics, and production management.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Production Engineer, you will use SolidWorks to create and update models and build components through CNC machining and 3D printing
- Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), track production schedules, and ensure the timely procurement of materials
- Assist with electronics integration, including soldering, while collaborating with engineers for seamless system assembly
- Be responsible for identifying process improvements and ensuring quality control throughout the production stages
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project goals, maintain progress, and communicate challenges and solutions
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Hands-on experience with CNC machining, 3D printing, and fabrication
- Basic electronics knowledge, including soldering and assembly
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment
