Service Engineer

The Role

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems powered by various energy sources.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance across a variety of HVAC systems.
• Deliver clear, concise job sheets and effective communication with both the office team and clients.
• Complete necessary forms and documentation in line with company procedures.
• Travel to multiple sites per day, ensuring each job is completed to the highest standards.
• Conduct remedial repairs and make system alterations as required.
• Perform safety tests and oversee system commissioning.
• Manage personal van stock for efficient operation.

• UK Driving Licence and proximity to Colchester (within an hour).

Package

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotational on-call duties.
• Competitive salary: 40,000 - 48,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Qualifications Required

• Domestic Codes - CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, DAH1, HTR1, CKR1
• Commercial Codes - CODNCO1, COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, BMP1, TPCP1A, TPCP1, ICPN1
• Water - WRAS, UHW
• H&S - IPAF, PASMA
• Additional qualifications like F-GAS, Oftec (Oil), or Heat Pump training are a plus.
