Antony James Recrutiment are recruiting for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Service Engineer to join our client's multi-skilled team, offering a salary of £40,000 - £48,000 per year. With a reputation built on quality and teamwork, they provide planned and reactive maintenance to commercial and residential clients across East Anglia and London. What Does the Role Entail?
Your day-to-day work will involve diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems across various energy sources, conducting planned preventive maintenance, and carrying out remedial repairs and system alterations. You'll travel to multiple sites daily, ensuring safety tests and commissioning are completed to the highest standard. Clear communication with both clients and our office-based team is essential, as is maintaining your personal van stock.
What Skills Will You Have?
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused professional with a keen eye for detail. You should be a natural problem-solver with excellent technical knowledge of HVAC systems among others. Strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work well within a team are essential. You'll need to hold valid Commercial and Domestic Gas Safe qualifications, a UK driving licence, and be located within commutable distance of Colchester. Additional certifications such as F-GAS, Oftec, or heat pump training would be beneficial and rewarded.
What Is On Offer?
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of £40,000 - £48,000 per year, dependent on experience, along with additional travel and overtime payments. Other benefits include profit-related annual bonus scheme, 25 days holiday with raises on service, company van and tools including, uniform and PPE and ongoing training.
