We are looking for an experienced office administrator to join our clients Operations Support team.

The Operations Support Co-ordinator is required to work as part of the Support team. The team is often the first point of contact for the business via incoming calls and it is therefore important to accurately establish the needs of the caller before transferring the call.

The co-ordinator is required to build and maintain good working relationships with all members of staff, clients and suppliers.

Salary - £27,000 - £30,000 DOE

Working hours - 8.30-5.30 Monday - Friday

Hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Based on the outskirts of Colchester.

This is a full time permanent role.

Here is a taste of what you will be doing:

  • First point of contact for clients and suppliers via incoming calls.
  • Inputting and maintaining accurate data on our bespoke systems.
  • Preparing documents from standard templates in both Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Checking reports and specifications for spelling, grammar and formatting, and preparing them for issue to clients and contractors.
  • General office administration including monitoring and ordering office consumables.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Office based experience.
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate well with colleagues and clients.

Role details:

  • Preferred Location: Hybrid working (3days in office, 2 days remote from home may be offered after completion of probation and/or training).
  • Holiday Entitlement: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by one day per year of service to a maximum of 30 days.
