Daily Supply Teacher 

We're looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Primary & Secondary Teacher to join the Tradewind on a daily supply basis in schools across Colchester Area! If you're someone who loves variety, enjoys a challenge, and wants to inspire young minds, this is a great opportunity for you!

What's the role about?
As a Daily Supply Teacher, you'll be stepping into classrooms across Colchester, covering for teachers who are absent and ensuring pupils continue to thrive in their learning. You will be given the chance to make a positive impact across a range of primary school settings. From Nursery to Year 6, you'll be there to deliver engaging lessons, encourage student participation, and create a welcoming atmosphere in the classroom.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of the students and school.
  • Encourage students to learn, grow, and achieve in a fun, safe, and respectful environment.
  • Support students' emotional and academic development with kindness, patience, and a positive attitude.
  • Maintain a positive classroom culture, even in challenging moments, with effective classroom management.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure students' needs are met and their learning is supported.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Has a can-do attitude and thrives in flexible environments.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and flexibility to adapt to new settings.
  • Is passionate about engaging students and promoting their personal and academic development.
  • Prior experience in teaching is great, but not essential - we welcome all levels of experience!
