Are you an experienced payroller looking for a fresh challenge and or environment?

Perhaps you have some payroll knowledge and keen to develop in this field with a firm that will offer you the support and training you seek.

Reed Practice have been instructed by a highly reputable medium sized accounting firm in the heart of Suffolk to recruit a new Payroll team member.

As Payroll Administrator, you’ll be an integral part of the team, working with colleagues alongside the Manager to provide a first-class service to a wide variety of clients, managing between you approximately 400 payroll clients.

The payroll team is small but highly efficient as they all work together to achieve their objectives for the greater good of the firm.  You will, however, have independence to carry out your own tasks, so will be comfortable working on your own as well as in a group.

Our client is open to the level of experience you have; either a proven success in a payroll position covering all calculations such as SSP, SMP, P60, P11d, Pensions, and so forth.   Or, you may have had some exposure with a basic knowledge and experience but keen to learn more detailed computations.

And last but by no means least, if you are open to a mixed role of payroll and accounts or tax, our client is open to allowing the successful applicant to assist other departments during the quieter periods.

We invite those who are experienced in working in an accountancy firm or bureau, and those who have worked in industry but involved in a large volume of payroll runs.  You will have an excellent attention to detail and communication skills, plus a flexible mindset to assist with tasks outside your remit to apply immediately.

The role will report to the Payroll Manager and join a close, high calibre, managing a portfolio of clients.

In return you will receive an attractive salary to reflect your calibre both in experience and potential, as well as outstanding benefits including flexible working and an unbeatable holiday package.
