Your new role

We are seeking plumbers to join a local social housing maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services by carrying out responsive and planned repairs to occupied properties. Your primary focus will be plumbing, but you may also be involved in minor tiling, plastering, and decorating tasks.

As a plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of plumbing repairs, including:

  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Planned and reactive maintenance
  • Repairing taps, toilets, sinks, and leaks
  • Adhering to strict health and safety regulations
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Completing repairs efficiently and within specified timeframes

Essential Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Craft or Level 2 qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent)
  • Clean, full UK driving licence
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills, with experience working in occupied properties
  • Passion for delivering high-quality repairs
  • Punctuality, reliability, and proficiency with small handheld tools

Preferred:

  • Experience with social housing maintenance
  • Own van and tools
