A thriving, mid-sized engineering consultancy is seeking a talented CDM Consultant/Principal Designer with the ambition to advance into a senior leadership position. With a diverse portfolio of detail-focused projects for high-profile clients, this consultancy is recognized for its commitment to technical excellence and its strong support for staff development.

In this role, you'll have the flexibility to manage your projects independently, with options for remote work however they champion a social office and many staff enjoy working as a team at the office.

The CDM Consultant Role

As the Principal Designer, you will be responsible for a portfolio of exciting projects, while both acting as Principal Designer and PD Client advisor as you work effectively within a department of 20+ CDM/H&S staff.

The CDM Consultant Will Have:

  • NEBOSH Construction (required)
  • Tech IOSH (minimum)
  • APS membership (preferred)
  • Design degree: Architecture / Civil Engineering / Engineering / Surveying (preferred)
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in CDM or a relevant field
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
