Exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a regional main contractor based in Colchester. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the whole project from conception to completion whilst being responsible for health & safety, delivery, programming, cost & quality.
The principal contractor operates across the student accommodation, education, health care, commercial and care home sector. The ideal Project Manager candidate will have a background in these sectors.
Requirements and Responsibilities for the Project Manager candidate:
- Ensure the project delivery is running on time and within clients expectations
- Be the point of contact for the client and build a solid relationship to promote future business
- Produce programmes and run weekly programme meetings
- Manager site team and subcontractors.
- Regular reporting upstream
- Have strong communication skills and good attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and work closely with the the commercial team
- Good at problem solving and planning works.
- Excellent attention to detail
Experience required
- 5 years Project Management experience minimum
- CITB SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Fire Marshall
- Asbestos Management
