Quantity Surveyor / Estimator required in Colchester

GVR Solutions are currently representing a reputable main contractor, based in Colchester. Our client is an 20m turnover main contractor, who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their commercial team. They work on both the FastTrack fit outs and new build projects.

They operate in the Hospitality, Leisure, Healthcare, Commercial and Leisure sectors with project values ranging from 100K - 5m.

The Quantity Surveyor / Estimator must have/be:

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or construction related courses
  • Minimum of 5 years Quantity Surveying experience
  • Must be able to also produce Estimates and Tenders
  • Experience working for a main contractor
  • Managed complete life cycle of projects including closing out of final accounts
  • Excellent analytical skills to make informed, balanced business decision and reporting
  • Self-sufficient
