Description

  • Develop cost plans and estimates through the design phase.
  • Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, quality and availability.
  • Lead the procurement process, ensuring timely placement of contracts.
  • Manage change control process, update and maintain cost control system.
  • Prepare and present cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
  • Collaborate with project management teams to ensure costs are managed effectively.
  • Assess and manage risk and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Profile

A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Experience working for a housebuilder
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the property sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction, procurement and contract law.
  • Excellent numerical skills and ability to prepare financial reports.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
