Our client, a large construction business based in Colchester, are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agree final accounts with Contractors and Clients.
  • Help to ensure finances are controlled and that projects are completed within budget and on time.
  • Work with other design team members to help inform the design from a cost perspective; prepare an updated monthly project cash flow if required.
  • Assess tenders and make recommendations to clients by providing a tender analysis.
  • Ensure that time spent on projects is recorded.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • Degree in Quantity surveying
  • Knowledge of building regulations
