Job description

Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Lettings Negotiator to join their dynamic team in the Colchester branch. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to advance their career in the property sector by supporting the sales and lettings of residential properties. You will play an essential role in achieving branch targets and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Promotion of Properties: Create detailed property listings. Regularly update and manage applicant databases.
  • Actively promote new instructions: Advertise properties, and organize open houses.
  • Client Advising & Upselling: Provide expert advice on market conditions
  • Viewings & Client Feedback: Arrange and conduct property viewings, delivering timely feedback to clients.
  • Ongoing Development & Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with market trends and legislation through training seminars, conventions, and professional events.
  • Client Care & Service Excellence: Maintain high standards of client communication and service, closely collaborating with the central sales progression team, financial advisors, and the administration hub.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside the branch marketing team to maximize property visibility and sales performance. Offer support to colleagues to foster a productive team environment.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong negotiation and sales ability, ideally in the property sector
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, and a proactive approach to client relationship management.
  • Professional Qualities: Presentable, driven, and client-focused, with an in-depth knowledge of the Colchester sales and lettings market.
  • Additional Requirements: Full, clean driving license required.
