Sonic Summary
- Our client in Colchester is seeking Class 2 Refuse drivers for an ongoing contract in the area.
- The role requires driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle and performing loading duties as needed, primarily on a Tuesday to Friday schedule from 06:30 to 16:30, with occasional Saturdays.
- Candidates must possess a Driver CPC and HGV II Licence, with no DD/DR and no more than 6 penalty points.
- Responsibilities include collecting household, recycled, and green waste from residential addresses and conducting daily vehicle inspections.
- The pay rate is £15.00 per hour, and there are long-term positions available, with potential for permanent opportunities after a qualifying period.
This is a Tuesday to Friday role 06:30 to 16:30 with occasional Saturdays due to Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities
Collecting household, recycled and green waste from primarily residential address.
Collecting refuse/recycling from requested locations and dispose of at the appropriate waste collection sites (mainly via dustcart but may include other vehicles).
Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and complete appropriate paperwork.
Drive / Load as directed.
This is an excellent opportunity with long term positions available for the right candidate. Permanent opportunities will be available after a qualifying period.
Pay rate is £15.00 p/h basic
