Accounts Assistant

We are recruiting for a brilliant company based in Colchester who are seeking a Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis.

Duties will include:

Accessing online banking, notifying of funds received and initiating bank transfers to client and supplier bank accounts
Assisting colleagues and accounting queries
Following and being familiar with SRA accounting rules
Reconciling of client and office bank accounts
Managing supplier invoicing
Speaking with clients to take payments
Allocating interest and movement of money within deposit accounts
Handling petty cash
Processing and assisting with delivering client bills

This is a part-time position, working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday with hours of 9am-5:15pm and is a fully office based position.
Salary is 24-26.5k pro rata to hours worked.
