Join a leading digital media agency located in the vibrant city of Colchester. We are at the forefront of digital transformation, blending creativity with cutting-edge technology. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Finance Assistant to support our finance team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Processing invoices and receipts accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconciling supplier and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Setting up new suppliers on our system and maintaining good relationships.
  • Resolving any supplier queries promptly.
  • Ensuring all financial operations adhere to supplier payment terms and meet month-end deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of VAT rules in relation to purchasing (e.g., zero-rated, standard rated, exempt transactions).
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger role is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with Sage 50 and Zahara is useful, but not required as full training will be provided.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
