Your new companyHays are excited to be supporting a delightful organisation to assist their Finance department. This role is an ongoing temporary position with an opportunity for a permanent role for the right candidate. You will be joining a thriving dedicated team working towards their continued success.
Your new role
- Process completion statements, CHAPS, and BACS payments
- Raise client and office cheques
- Process bills, credit notes, client interest, and card payments
- Transfer funds between client and office accounts
- Handle general enquiries and liaise with Fee Earners and Partners
- Run potential transfers' client report twice a week and at month's end
What you'll need to succeedYou will need to be comfortable with numbers and confident using Excel. You will ideally have experience of completing the following accounts tasks.
- Paying in and issuing cheques
- Processing supplier payments
- Understanding the basic principles of accounts
- Updating and maintaining records.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience within an accounting environment
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
