Responsibilities for Computer science Teacher:
路 Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity.
路 Teach students fundamental programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and computational thinking.
路 Introduce students to various aspects of computer science, such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
路 Facilitate hands-on coding projects and activities to encourage practical application of computer science concepts.
路 Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
路 Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and ensure alignment with educational standards.
路 Stay up-to-date with advancements in computer science education and integrate relevant technologies and tools into the classroom.
路 Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs or competitions, and provide guidance as needed.
Requirements:
路 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
路 Teaching certification or license in Computer Science or a relevant subject area.
路 Proven experience in teaching computer science at the secondary level.
路 Familiarity with computer science frameworks, tools, and platforms commonly used in education.
路 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate students.
路 Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
路 Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
路 Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities.
