This is a high-performing secondary school in Colchester, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, seeking an experienced and motivated Second in Charge English Teacher to join this expanding team.

The Role:

As the Second in Charge English Teacher, you will play a key leadership role, supporting the Head of Department in shaping the vision and direction of English across this Colchester school. You will:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of the English curriculum across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • Lead on specific initiatives to improve teaching, learning, and assessment.
