The Role

We are seeking an outstanding and inspirational Teacher of English to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced teacher or a newly qualified educator who believes in pushing the boundaries of student achievement.

The role also offers the chance to teach English as an Additional Language (EAL) for the right candidate. While prior experience in this area is desirable, it is not essential.

This fixed-term position is part-time (80% FTE) and will run until April 2025 in the first instance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Teacher of English, you will:

- Deliver high-quality teaching to students across **Key Stages 3 and 4**.

- Inspire and engage students through enthusiastic and innovative teaching methods.

- Develop lesson materials and resources tailored to meet diverse learning needs.

- Use IT effectively to enhance lesson planning and delivery.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). (Applications from Early Career Teachers are welcome!)

- Demonstrates the ability to deliver challenging and engaging English lessons.

- Shows a passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to supporting young people.

- Prioritises safeguarding and child protection.
