Academics are currently looking for a Secondary school English Teacher to work in Colchester, Essex starting in January 2025. On a long term supply basis with a permanent contract available for the right person.
We are currently partnered with an extremely supportive secondary school that values the welfare of both the students and teachers. This school has a pastoral care team that are involved greatly with the support and learning development of the children.
The ideal English Teacher will:
- Have great subject experience with extensive knowledge of the secondary English national curriculum
- Have excellent planning and preparation
- Have a supportive mind set when approaching children's learning needs for inclusivity
- A good inclusive, safe and fun classroom manner
- Partaking in all education and training days
- Have experience teaching English @ GCSE & A-Level/ KS3, KS4
