We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - English to join our secondary schools in Colchester. This part-time position is available for an immediate start and offers a rewarding opportunity to support students in enhancing their English language and literature skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Qualifications: HLTA status or equivalent qualification.

Experience: Proven experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, preferably within the English department of a secondary school.

Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students in English studies.

Knowledge: Familiarity with the secondary English curriculum and effective teaching strategies to support student learning.

Safeguarding: A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
