Are you an enthusiastic and motivated PE Teacher looking for an exciting new role? We are seeking a passionate PE Teacher to join our secondary schools in Colchester immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students, promote physical well-being, and create engaging sports lessons that cater to all abilities. The role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall development of the school’s sports programs.

 

The Role:

As a PE Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students develop their
  • Promote physical activity and well-being, encouraging students to participate in a variety of sports and fitness activities.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Organise extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and school events to enhance student engagement.
  • Monitor student progress, adapting lessons to meet different learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an inclusive and supportive PE curriculum.
  • Inspire the students to reach their full potential.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant PE teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level.
  • A passion for sports, fitness, and student well-being.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to motivate students.
  • Commitment to promoting equal opportunities in sports for all students.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of PE curricula and teaching strategies.
  • A positive and proactive approach to managing behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment
