Requirements:
- QTS/QTLS/PGCE is essential
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Familiarity with the National Curriculum
- A proven record of successful teaching in an 11-16 school
- Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a proven track record of student success.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to use effective strategies and resources that help all students learn and develop new skills

Responsibilities:
- Teach History to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, emphasising the development of critical thinking, research, and analytical abilities.
- Design and deliver dynamic, curriculum-focused lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, offering constructive feedback.
- Engage in school-wide activities, attend department meetings, and pursue professional development opportunities.
- Provide guidance and support to help students achieve their academic and personal potential.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour management in accordance with school policies.
