Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Colchester Start Date: ASAP

Are you an experienced and motivated teaching assistant looking to take the next step in your career? Our vibrant Primary School in Colchester is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our enthusiastic and supportive team.

As an HLTA at our school, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning process, working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and ensuring that all students reach their full potential. You will be expected to lead small group interventions, provide one-to-one support, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:· Lead and support small group interventions across a range of subjects · Provide one-to-one support to children with varying learning needs · Assist class teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities · Support the assessment and tracking of student progress · Promote inclusion and encourage the social and emotional development of all students · Assist in the planning and preparation of classroom resources and activities

The ideal candidate will:· Hold a relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience · Have experience working in a primary school setting, preferably within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 · Be confident in supporting and leading interventions across a range of subjects · Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills · Show a genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and development · Be a proactive team player who works well with teachers, students, and parents
