Reed in Colchester are recruiting a Workshop Engineer for our rapidly growing client who are based in Colchester

The successful candidate will provide support to the Workshop Engineering Team Leader in all aspects of work including packaging & assembly, repair, testing and much more!

This will be a varied role and will suit someone that can work well on their own initiative as well as part of team.

The ideal candidate:

• Strong hands-on mechanical engineering background• Experience of engine overhauls desirable but not essential.• Ability to follow technical drawings to assemble complex products• Fault finding and repair experience• Testing experience desirable but not essential• Some electrical experience eg. Control panel, switches or sensor wiring would be beneficial however not essential• Be self motivated, confident and willing to assist in all aspects of the business• Must be computer literate and be able to use Microsoft office programmes
