P + S Care and Support are recruiting for Support Workers specifically to work within the Children and Young People Sector

You will be working within many clients throughout the area, with young people in supported living, solo housing or within residential.

We are looking for people to join our team who are passionate and eager and are able to provide first class care to young people that promotes independence.

  • You will present positive and encourage role modelling.
  • Allowing them to strengthen their trust and build strong relationships.
  • As a support worker, you will follow a specific Behaviour Management Plan and Care Plan to safeguard young people.
  • You will help to inspire and encourage them in behaving in a respectful, and appropriate manner.
  • Assure all young people are safeguarded.
  • All young people are listened to.
  • Encourage and motivate young people to participate in group activities.
  • Enhancing the ability to build positive relationships with young people we care for.
  • Write clear and detailed follow up reports.
  • Accommodate to the young person's needs, self-reliance and living to look after their emotional and physical wellbeing.

Pay Scales £12.50 - £18.00 per hour
