- Supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Helping promote a stimulating, caring and culturally appropriate environment for the young people.
- Providing practical and emotional support to young people.
- Demonstrating empathy, compassion, resilience and positive parenting skills even under challenging conditions.
- Work closely with young people, their families and professionals.
- Organising and facilitating social activities and health appointments.
- Maintaining the home (laundry, cleaning, shopping etc.).
- YouMUSTbe organised, committed and passionate about the work you do.
Candidate Qualities & Requirements
- All applicants must have a valid full manual UK/EU driving licence and be over the age of 21 (in accordance with The Childrens Homes England) Regulations 2015).
- A-Level or equivalent (Preferred)
- Experience of working or engaging young people
- Level 3 Diploma (QCF/NVQ3) in Childcare and Young People (we will provide this if necessary)
