About the Role:


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced community-supportive living Leader (Care Manager) to join our committed team. In this pivotal role, you will manage a team delivering complex support to adults with learning disabilities within a community-based supported living environment.


As a Community Support Leader, you will work closely with your Operational Manager to oversee multiple teams, ensuring that the highest standards of care are met.


You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations, promoting best practices, and mentoring your team to do the same. Your leadership will be crucial in helping us meet the needs of those we support while staying true to our organisational vision.


Who Were Looking For: -Community Support Leader ( Care Manager) - Colchester, Essex


  • Experience: Proven experience in the supported living industry, particularly in supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Leadership: Strong background in managing, supervising, or coordinating teams in a supported living setting.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and other relevant compliance standards.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities and budget management experience.
  • Attributes: Caring, confident, articulate, and professional, with a keen interest in learning and a desire to embrace our values while having fun in the process.
