A specialist school in Colchester is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide direct support to students in both group and 1:1 settings, working closely with teachers and support staff to enhance students' learning experiences. (Education and Training)
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual and group therapy within the learning environment
- Work closely with the Class Teacher and Teaching Assistant to contribute to lessons
- Assist with lesson preparation, schemes of work, ISPs, and Care Plans
- NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable but not essential)
- GCSE Maths & English (Grade C or above)
- Experience working with students with autism or learning disabilities in an educational setting (highly advantageous)
- Small class sizes for a better work-life balance
- Excellent on-the-job training and CPD opportunities
