We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected organisation within the manufacturing sector. Our client is seeking a technically minded, motivated individual to join their team in a full-time, office-based Technical Sales role.

This position is ideal for candidates with previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, who are confident in handling technical sales processes and customer engagement.

The successful candidate will work alongside senior management and will play a key role in both customer support and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Specify and sell dust, fume, and mist extraction systems tailored to customer requirements
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers across various industries
  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing distributors in the UK and internationally
  • Maintain accurate customer records using the company's CRM system
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the sales and management team to meet company targets
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales goals and overall business growth

Candidate Requirements:

  • A background in manufacturing or industrial processes is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technically confident, with the ability to understand and discuss engineered solutions
  • IT literate, with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage time and workload independently
  • A degree in engineering or a relevant discipline is desirable, though not essential if the candidate has industrial experience
  • Some experience in international sales or distributor support is advantageous
