Service Technician - Agricultural Machinery
Location: Colchester

Prime Appointments is working with a leading agricultural dealer seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their team in Colchester.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and repairing software, electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other mechanical faults
- Servicing and maintaining JCB and other agricultural machinery to manufacturer standards, ensuring safety and reliability
- Providing detailed reports on completed work, including photographs and accurate time records
- Using diagnostic software via laptop (training provided)
- Identifying potential issues and recommending additional services where appropriate
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in agriculture, commercial, or construction engineering, particularly in vehicle maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills across various mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
