We are supporting a well-established logistics provider with a broad presence across Europe to recruit for a Transport Coordinator/Planner.

We are looking for a dedicated, organised individual to join the team as a Transport Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for transport logistics and a desire to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise, and coordinate transport operations.
  • Communicate transport details, such as loading/unloading instructions, to drivers or subcontractors.
  • Verify and track drivers' activities and truck locations.
  • Utilise an in-house transport management system to monitor and update transport progress.
  • Monitor and evaluate truck performance and utilisation.
  • Work closely with drivers, subcontractors, and colleagues across various locations.
  • Ability to multitask and offer effective operational solutions

Working Hours:

  • Rotating shift pattern, Monday to Friday:
    • 06:00hrs - 15:00hrs
    • 07:00hrs - 16:00hrs
    • 08:00hrs - 17:00hrs
    • 09:00hrs - 18:00hrs
    • 10:00hrs - 19:00hrs

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous office experience.
  • Background in logistics or transport.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Proficient in IT systems and applications.
  • Good understanding of geography.
